Biography
Dr. Patel brings 20 years of clinical experience as a practicing hospitalist and 10 years of leadership experience including her work as a physician advisor. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and certified in healthcare quality and management.
Dr. Patel completed her residency at St. Clare's Family Practice Residency Program in Upstate New York and earned her MPH from the University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY). She is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) and American College of Physician Advisor (ACPA).
Dr. Patel is experienced in optimizing clinical workflows, capturing actionable data to improve quality and patient outcomes. Over the years she has mentored medical students and residents during their clinical rotations and onboarded new Advanced Practice Provider (APP) graduates.
