Biography
Dr. Lefler brings more than 15 years of pharmacy practice experience to Belmont. She previously served the community working as a pharmacist for Publix. She later worked over 8 years in a long-term care setting with a practice focus of psychotropic drug use and falls in the elderly. Dr. Lefler is also experienced in compounding with training in bio-identical hormone replacement and nutritional support.
Dr. Lefler joined Belmont University College of Pharmacy in 2013 and serves as Site Liaison for the Office of Experiential Education. Dr. Lefler coordinates both IPPE and APPE opportunities with students, faculty, and adjunct faculty. She also serves as preceptor for two local mission partners, Live Beyond and Vanderbilt’s Shade Tree Clinic.
