Biography
Kristin Walker (OTD, OTR/L) is an Assistant Professor in the School of Occupational Therapy. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Middle Tennessee State University in 2008 and a Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University in 2013. She has been practicing for 9 years in a variety of settings to include pediatric outpatient clinics, school setting, pediatric ICU, specifically cardiac ICU, and adult inpatient rehabilitation. She specializes in pediatrics with clinical interests to include sensory processing, cardiac conditions impacting neonatal/infant development in the ICU, inclusion in play, and transitioning youth into the workforce. In her free time away from work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, dancing, and playing disc golf.
