Biography

Jennifer Floyd serves as Executive Assistant and Office Administrator for the Office of Strategy and Innovation at Belmont University, where she provides high-level support to the Vice President and ensures seamless operations across a fast-paced, mission-driven team. In this role, she is a central force behind executive effectiveness—managing complex priorities, coordinating strategic initiatives, and creating the operational infrastructure that enables leaders and teams to do their best work.

Jennifer brings decades of experience in executive support, organizational development, and employee experience, with a reputation for anticipating needs, bringing clarity to complexity, and fostering alignment across diverse stakeholders. She operates as a trusted partner to leadership, helping translate vision into execution while cultivating a culture of excellence, hospitality, and accountability.

Prior to Belmont, Jennifer held multiple leadership roles at OHM Advisors, where she supported regional executives and advanced market development efforts across Tennessee. She led cross-functional coordination, strengthened client engagement, and implemented process improvements that increased efficiency, collaboration, and visibility. As Tennessee Culture Leader, she partnered with senior leadership to design and implement employee engagement strategies that significantly improved participation, morale, and team cohesion.

Jennifer’s leadership extends beyond her professional roles. She co-founded Jumbled Dreams – Changing Lives with her daughter, a Belmont graduate, to support children and families through volunteer-driven outreach. In her role as CFO, she has helped mobilize global partnerships and deliver meaningful resources to communities in need.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Cumberlands and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from West Virginia University. Jennifer is widely recognized for her relational leadership style, operational excellence, and ability to translate vision into execution—making her a trusted partner in advancing both strategy and culture.
