Biography

Cynthia (C.J.) Tucker is a classically trained actress with over 20 years of professional acting experience. She has worked extensively on the stage, in film and television. After working in New York and Los Angeles for 10 years, C.J. moved to Nashville where she still performs.

C.J. has a B.A. in Theatre. While in New York, she studied the Meisner Method with the legendary William Esper, Voice for the Stage with Robert Williams of Juilliard, Play Analysis at New York University and “the Method” at the Actor’s Creative Studio with Lee Strasberg protege, Ernie Martin. C.J. spent a season at Actor’s Theatre of Louisville under the artistic direction of Jon Jory. C.J. is a member of the Actors Bridge Ensemble where she works as a director, actress and instructor.
