Biography
Betty is from a small town in the Appalachian Mountains located in East Tennessee. She has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from MTSU. She was the first certified female Sheriff Deputy in her county. She has worked in a maximum-security prison and has worked as a forensic interviewer and interrogator during her time with the Sheriff’s department. Currently Betty is on the engagement team at Campus Security and loves interacting with students, faculty, and staff. Outside of work, her hobbies are cooking, sewing, and fishing.
