Supporting Mental Health Across Entertainment Fields
Belmont University’s Center for Mental Health in Entertainment (CMHE) strengthens the well-being of artists, creatives and entertainment professionals through research, education and community programs and resources tailored to the realities of music, film, television, sports, digital media and related creative fields.
Launched in partnership between the Mike Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business and the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, the Center addresses an urgent need for industry-specific mental health support, education for students around mental health and self care practices, and evidence based training for both entertainment professionals and the counselors who serve them.
