Careers

Corporate Communication majors have a higher-than-average job placement rate, and our alumni are putting their skills to work in a variety of careers including recruiting, human resources, interactive marketing, event-planning, volunteer coordinating, health communications, campaign management, entertainment and many more.

Internships are increasingly important for student and alumni career aspirations. Working as an intern helps prepare students to be more marketable employees through valuable work experience, networking, and vocational clarity.

Recent interns have worked in diverse fields such as corporate communication, non-profit, law, government, marketing, music business, event planning, public relations, and more. A few examples of recent intern sites include: American Heart Association, Country Music Television (CMT), Frist Art Museum, McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations, Nashville Predators, Nissan North America, and Warner Music Nashville.
