Leadership Launch


The Leadership Launch takes place prior to move-in weekend and is a time for students to train and prepare for the upcoming academic year, reconnect with friends and other student leaders on campus, and fully engage in positional leadership roles at Belmont. 

Purpose of The Leadership Launch

  • To frame student leader goals for the upcoming year
  • To provide purpose for the student leaders 
  • To ensure student leaders are aware that they all develop community in their own distinctive ways, but that they all are charged with building community at Belmont
  • To assure student leaders that they are not in it alone – leadership
  • To inspire student leaders

The following student leaders are represented during the Leadership Launch training:

  • Resident Assistants (RA)
  • Belmont Office of Leadership Development - BOLD Team Leaders
  • Towering Tradition (TT) Leaders
  • Orientation Council (OC)
  • Student Government Association Executive Cabinet (SGA)
  • Student Activities Programming Board Executive Cabinet (SAPB)
  • Greek Chapters: National Panhellenic, Interfraternity Council (IFC), and National Pan-hellenic Council (NPHC) Executives
  • University Ministry Spiritual  (SLA)
