Part of the AWC Family Foundation Lecture Series

Join us for an extraordinary evening featuring acclaimed actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise, known by his performance as Lt Dan Taylor in Forrest Gump among an extensive list of accomplished roles in stage, film and television. He is also known for his work in Truman, George Wallace and The Stand.

Sinise has dedicated his life to serve and honor America’s defenders, veterans, first responders and their families. Through the Gary Sinise Foundation, he has developed a myriad of programs that give back to those who sacrifice for our nation.

"Brothers At War" was an award-winning documentary film by Jake Rademacher, who risked everything, including his life, to tell his brothers' stories on the frontlines and the families that supported them. Fifteen years later, with Executive Producer Gary Sinise, Jake Rademacher reconnects with his brothers and elite soldiers and marines he embedded with during the Iraq War. Intercutting footage past and present, he leads us on an insightful, humorous and moving journey as we watch warfighters explore loss, meaning and hope on their path from warfighter to veteran.

Sinise will engage with Belmont veteran community during the day. The early screening of "Brothers After War" will be followed by a Q&A session with Sinise and the film's directors.
