There has never been a more important or exciting time to consider a career in education. At Belmont’s College of Education, students are provided the opportunity to engage with teachers and students in the classroom as early as their first semester. The College of Education faculty place a great emphasis on advocacy for families and children, particularly those from traditionally underserved populations.

Through small class sizes and academic advising, faculty guide students as they work toward their career goals. Our teacher licensure programs are approved by the Tennessee Department of Education as educator preparation programs leading to teacher licensure, and our programs are accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). We also have direct partnerships with Metro Nashville Public Schools and the surrounding districts. These partnerships give students a direct gateway to hands-on classroom experience. Join Belmont’s College of Education as we prepare future teachers to make a direct impact on the lives of their students.
