As a Motion Pictures major, you will be prepared for a broad variety of career options. Whether you start at the bottom as a set PA, or at the top as a producer or director, the same skills are required. Your work ethic, professionalism, heart, your enthusiasm and your talent will be rewarded.
With the explosion in scripted and unscripted television, there's never been a better time to enter the industry. Start knowing no two paths are the same. No matter what your personality, there's a place for you. If you thrive on activity and teamwork, work on set. If you don't want the pressure of losing the light and not making your day, be a postproduction supervisor and work in an air-conditioned room. Guided by your professors, helped by your friends in Motion Pictures and our network of alumni, you'll find your way. Armed with a solid education and a few contacts, a career is absolutely possible.
