Occupational TherapyThe path to becoming an occupational therapist begins at Belmont University.  


With two entry-level degree options, Belmont provides excellent preparation to become a licensed professional in this dynamic field.  Both programs are fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).

Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD)
The entry-level doctoral program is for those who have completed a bachelor’s degree at a regionally accredited college or university in any major.

Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT)
The entry-level master’s degree is designed for current health professionals, primarily for licensed occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), who must continue working as they pursue their education.
