Professional MBA
The Professional Master of Business Administration (PMBA) program is designed for working professionals with a minimum of two years of significant work experience. The key to PMBA is flexibility, enabling students to successfully balance work, graduate school and personal life. Students generally complete the PMBA program in two years, but they can complete the program in as few as 15 months or as many as four years. Accelerated MBA
The Accelerated Master of Business Administration (AMBA) program is designed for new and recent college graduates with little to no professional experience. The program is competitive, stimulating and puts emerging professionals on the fast track to success. The AMBA program begins in the fall semester with a cohort group of students who complete the program the following summer. Students attend classes four nights per week from 6:15 PM to 9:00 PM and complete a professional internship during the spring semester. Learn more about the Accelerated MBA.
Healthcare MBA
The Healthcare Master of Business Administration (HCMBA) program is designed for working healthcare professionals with a minimum of two years of significant healthcare industry experience. HCMBA students include a mix of clinicians, administrators and researchers. Courses include all functional areas of business and are orientated toward the healthcare industry. Students begin HCMBA in the fall semester with a cohort and complete the program in two years. Classes meet two nights per week from 6:15 PM to 9:00 PM. Learn more about the Healthcare MBA.
Master of Accountancy
The Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program is designed for individuals who wish to sit for the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination. MAcc courses include all knowledge areas for CPA exams: Auditing and Attestation (AUD), Business Environment and Concepts (BEC), Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) and Regulation (REG). In addition, all MAcc courses place a significant emphasis on ethics. Classes generally meet two nights per week from 6:15 PM to 9:00 PM and students can complete the program in as little as a year or as long as two years. Learn more about the Master of Accountancy.
Summer Business Institute
Designed and taught by Massey faculty members, the Summer Business Institute (SBI) completes all prerequisite course work for Massey’s MBA programs.
Massey MBA prerequisite courses include:
- Accounting I
- Accounting II
- Microeconomics
- Macroeconomics
- Statistics
- Calculus, or other math class higher than college Algebra
SBI courses are completed over ten weeks in the summer and students attend classes two week nights per week and on Saturdays during the program. Summer Accounting Institute
The Summer Accounting Institute (SAI) is designed and taught by Massey faculty members and completes all prerequisite course work required for Massey’s Master of Accountancy program. Massey MAcc prerequisites include an undergraduate degree in business and a minimum of 12 hours of undergraduate accounting course work.
SAI courses includes the following subjects:
- Financial Accounting
- Cost Accounting
- Tax Accounting
- Audit Accounting
SAI courses are completed over ten weeks in the summer and students attend classes on two week nights per week and Saturdays during the program.
