Biography
Ryan Yoakum is the Business and Data Services Librarian at Belmont University. He received both his Master's in Library and Information Science and his bachelor's in History/Religion from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Ryan's main tasks include providing research support to the student population at Belmont, serving as the library liaison to the Jack C. Massey College of Business as well as the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business, and developing resources to increase data literacy and skills across campus. His research interests primarily revolve around data literacy, data storytelling, and accessibility in data visualization.
