Facility Assistant: Facility assistants report to the Director, Assistant Director and the Facilities Graduate Assistant and is responsible for assisting with different functions of facility operations that occur at the Beaman Information Desk, in weight room and other area within in the fitness center. Assisting patrons, having a knowledge of Fit Rec Events and of the Belmont Campus and maintaining a safe & fun environment are some of the responsibilities assigned to a Facility Assistant. Facility Assistants that wish to work at the Climbing Wall specifically are required to assist with different functions of facility operations including the Climbing Wall, outdoor trips, outdoor rentals and special events. Climbing Assistants are expected to manage equipment inventory, teach & demonstrate safe climbing techniques and maintain a safe and positive climbing environment.

Beaman Trainer: The Beaman Trainer reports to the Director, Assistant Director and Fitness Graduate Assistant and is responsible for safely and effectively training personal training clients who are part the Belmont Community and facilitating a great fitness environment. All trainers are expected to have a basic knowledge of fitness programming and uphold fitness policies while conducting them safely and effectively. BT 1 are required to complete the Beaman Jumpstart Trainer course. BT 2 must possess a personal training certification from a NCCA accredited organization. BT 3 must possess a personal training certification from a NCCA accredited organization and must have a Bachelor Degree.

Jumpstart Trainer: The JumpStart Trainer reports to the Director, Assistant Director and Fitness Graduate Assistant and is responsible for safely and effectively training JumpStart clients who are part the Belmont Community and facilitating a great fitness environment. Jumpstart Trainers are individuals who are passionate about fitness and who are interested in obtaining personal training certification. All trainers must exhibit a healthy lifestyle.

Group Fitness Instructor: The group fitness instructor reports to the Director, Assistant Director and the Fitness & Wellness Programming Graduate Assistant and is responsible for safely and effectively conducting a group fitness class for the Belmont Community. Instructors must have the ability to lead a class with safe fitness & exercise techniques and have the ability to create a dynamic workout. All Group Fitness Instructors must conduct a 30-minute demonstration. GF Instructor 1 does not require certifications. GF Instructor 2 requires prior teaching experience and Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification. GF Instructor 3 requires teaching experience, Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification and a Bachelor Degree.

Graphic Designer: The Graphic Designer reports to the Director, Assistant Director and Graduate Supervisors and is responsible for assisting in the creation and design of digital marketing materials that will be displayed across campus, on social media and on digital advertising boards located in the weight room in the Beaman Center. The ability to work with a variety of programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign, Canva and motion graphics software are preferred.
