In 1971 Belmont University pioneered a music business program designed to prepare young men and women for administrative, creative, and technical careers in the music industry. Three decades later, the program grew into the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business with an impressive faculty including academic scholars and authors, entrepreneurs, songwriters, producers, and sound engineers.
