It is the role of board members to provide oversight of the university and to develop broad policies and guidelines under which the university operates and upon which its standards are maintained and measured. The board delegates to the President of the university, and in turn to other executive administrators, the authority to manage the university’s operations under its oversight. The entire board meets four times a year, and board committees meet on an as needed basis. Board committees include Executive, Academic Affairs, Athletics, Audit, Finance & Investment, Institutional Advancement, Nominating & Evaluation and Student Formation.
