Venues and Event Services Fellowship and Graduate Assistantship Programs

Fellowships

Belmont University is the prime location to learn about the world of entertainment and venue management.

In the heart of bustling Nashville, TN, and moments away from jaw-dropping talent, eye-catching venues and breathtaking productions at seemingly every turn, we have become an incubator for the next generation of renown artists, producers, engineers, managers and industry leaders.

We offer full-time, salaried positions in the Office of Strategic Venues & Event Services which include health insurance, paid vacation and other University benefits for recent graduates of Belmont's Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business, Massey College of Business and College of Music & Performing Arts. These fellowships offer continued learning through experience, hands-on training, connection with industry professionals and mentorship. Positions are generally a two-year commitment and candidates must have graduated within two years of applying.

Graduate Assistantships

Belmont University offers a valuable array of graduate programs key for career advancement and beneficial to our operations.

For those with interest in gaining critical hands-on experience in finance, business operations, sports management and/or performance arts administration, we offer graduate internships and graduate assistantships. Graduate Interns are generally first-year graduate students invested in learning the trade. Graduate Assistants are second-year graduate students and support staff compensated with 100% tuition reimbursement.

The Office of Strategic Venues & Event Services has two primary graduate assistantship tracks--one supports our University Box Office’s ticketing operations for the Curb Event Center and Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, while the other supports our Business Operations and Finance’s daily operations and strategic venues cashflow management. Applicants must be admitted to a Belmont University graduate program with a course of study in an applicable field.
