Gulf-South Summit on Service-Learning and Civic Engagement through Higher Education (Baton Rouge, LA)
Hosted by LSU and Franciscan University, March 23-25, 2022

The mission of the Gulf-South Summit on Service-Learning and Civic Engagement through Higher Education is to promote networking among practitioners, research, ethical practices, reciprocal campus-community partnerships, sustainable programs, and a culture of engagement and public awareness through service-learning and other forms of civic engagement.  This year's conference theme is "Cultivating Community Resilience Through Engagement".

Since Belmont is a Gulf-South Summit Member Institution, Belmont faculty and staff will be able to register at the member rate when registration opens.

Calls for Proposals and Awards Nominations are being accepted through October 15, 2021.

 
Campus Compact National Conference (Virtual Format)
Hosted by Campus Compact, March 29-31, 2022

Compact22 is Campus Compact's all-virtual 2022 national conference. It is the largest and most inclusive national conference focused on the role of higher education in building healthy communities and fostering a just and equal democracy.

Since Belmont is a Campus Compact Member Institution, Belmont faculty and staff can register at the Campus Compact member rate.  Please coordinate registrations with Tim Stewart, tim.stewart@belmont.edu, in the Belmont Office of Service-Learning so we can take advantage of the Group Registration rate if we have 5+ attending.  Registration is open now with the "Preview Rate" good through 12/31/21.
