International students at Welcome Week Scavenger Hunt

Intercultural Events

In addition to International Student Orientation at the beginning of the semester, there are many opportunities for international students engage and thrive at Belmont University. One major opportunity is to attend one of our intercultural events held during the semester. During these events, we discuss some aspect of U.S. American culture (ex/academic integrity, art, health, dating, and financial wellness) in small groups to promote intercultural dialogue affecting all students.

Our intercultural group, Global Bruins, consists of both international and domestic students. We encourage all Belmont University students to join our group to create international dialogue and participate in events that promote the celebration of cultural differences on campus. We will have several events through this group, including visits to the pumpkin patch in the fall, hikes in the local forests, and volunteering in the local community.

In the fall semester, we also celebrate International Education Week, which is a week designated by the U.S. Department of State to celebrate the benefits of international education. Please see below for the most up-to-date calendar of Belmont’s International Education Week events.
