You will be assigned a Belmont University Clinical Supervisor that will provide regular direct one on one support in your placement. Residents, Interns, and Student Teachers will be placed in a classroom with an exemplary mentor teacher that is mutually agreed upon by the District Administration and College of Education Clinical Faculty. Job-Embedded candidates identify a school-based mentor (i.e., Teacher Coach, Lead Teacher) with the help of their administration and our College of Education Clinical Faculty. This school-based mentor serves as resource to provide additional support, feedback, and ideas throughout the program. Additionally, you receive support from Clinical Faculty in the College of Education on an individual basis, including classroom observations and curricular and practical support.
