COVID-19 Recent Announcements

September 1, 2021: Campus Vaccination Rates Now Published Online

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,

Campus COVID-19 Vaccination Rates Are Now Being Reported Each Week

With our full campus population back on campus for the fall term, and having collected enough data to reliably report vaccination status, Belmont University is now reporting vaccination rates of our students, faculty and staff on our COVID-19 website. These rates will be updated every Monday along with positive case counts, and is one of many data points that University leadership will be monitoring throughout the fall.

For Those Already Vaccinated – Report Your Vaccination Status

It is important to let Belmont Health Services know your vaccination status once you have received your vaccine. Knowing the percentage of our campus community that is fully vaccinated will help us as we continually evaluate the threat of COVID-19 to our campus and consider adjustments to our health and safety protocols moving forward. Please take the five minutes it takes to upload your vaccination card to Belmont’s Health Portal. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.

Get Vaccinated on Campus

With vaccines being safe, effective and free, getting vaccinated is the most important step and our single biggest defense in our battle against COVID-19. Belmont is currently offering both the single-shot Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine and the two-dose Moderna vaccine to ALL Belmont students, faculty and staff, age 18 and older, at no cost. Vaccine clinics take place on campus every Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and instructions on reserving an appointment through the Health Portal can be found here. If you are unable to find an appointment using the Health Portal, please call Health Services at 615-460-6194.

Thank you for doing your part in keeping our campus community safe and healthy.
