Summer Winds Band Camp

The Belmont University Summer Winds Band Camp is a unique summer camp event for high school students entering grades 9-12 (ages 13-18). Camp students study under the artistic guidance of the outstanding Belmont instrumental and ensemble faculty. Opportunities include large ensemble, master classes, and class lessons.

Daily Schedule

Students will be involved in large ensemble rehearsals and class lessons on their instrument. Class lessons are taught by the Belmont applied wind and percussion faculty, giving each student the opportunity to receive personal attention. Students are under careful supervision by camp counselors during all activities.


The camp is open to all woodwind, brass, and percussion students who will enter grades 9-12 in the upcoming fall semester. Participants must be age 13 upon the first day of camp. 

2021 Cost

Commuter Participant: $250 ($100 application fee applies to this amount)

This includes:

  • Lunch (Monday-Friday)
  • Tuition for large ensemble, lessons, and master classes
  • Camp t-shirt
