Summer Piano Invitational

2023 Dates: June 4-9, 2023

Belmont University’s Summer Piano Invitational is a summer experience for pianists rising into 9th-12th grades. Participants may study classical or jazz piano in their private lesson with a member of Belmont's nationally-recognized piano faculty.  There are also group sessions for participants that include sight-reading, ensemble playing, introduction to popular styles, and approaches to learning music.

Schedule & Activities:

  • Sunday check-in, welcome session and Faculty Concert
  • Monday through Thursday activities are from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
    • Daily private lesson with a Belmont piano faculty
    • Daily group sessions, classes, and performance classes
    • Evening concerts and social events
  • Participants Concert on Friday June 10, 1:00 pm

Eligibility:

The Summer Piano Invitational is open to students entering grades 9-12 in the Fall of 2023, pending successful audition. Enrollment is limited.

2023 Costs:

Resident Camper: $800.00 (Dorm Accommodations)

  • Includes all daily meals

Commuter Camper: $400.00 (No Dorm Accommodations)

  • Includes daily lunches
