Assistantships at Belmont fall into two categories: teaching and support. Teaching assistantships can entail teaching private lessons, a Fundamentals of Theory course, or Class piano, Class voice, or Class guitar. You will be assisting or be supervised by a faculty member.
Support assistantships can be in a variety of categories. The work ranges from office hours and administrating work to maintenance and repair of instruments to Directing a Pep Band. Each assistantship has it’s own requirements and qualifications.
Assistantship awards range from an hourly paid position to amounts typically within a range of $1000-$2000.
All transcripts must be official. Your undergraduate institution should have an option on their website to request that a transcript be sent to another institution. We do not accept transcripts submitted by the student.
