Jane Warren

Jane Warren Dr. Jane Warren is an Associate Professor of Music at Belmont University School of Music. Dr. Warren conducts both the Women's Choir and the primarily commercial a cappella group, Session.

Dr. Warren earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Conducting from the University of South Carolina, where she received the LaDare Robinson Graduate Award for Academic Excellence. She has two Master degrees: a Master of Music (Choral Conducting) from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Music (Music History) from Baylor University. Dr. Warren's Bachelor of Music (Church Music) degree is from Furman University (magna cum laude). She has studied with many celebrated conductors and pedagogues including Robert Shaw, David Willcocks, John Rutter, Boris Tevlin and Bobby McFerrin.

Dr. Warren has extensive experience in choral conducting, as a director, clinician and adjudicator. She is also skilled in teaching the art and craft of conducting. Dr. Warren's other professional music activities include solo performer, composer, arranger, and vocal group consultant. She holds professional membership with the American Choral Directors Association, International Fedreation of Choral Musicians, Pi Kappa Lambda, and Mu Phi Epsilon.
