Veronica Joines

Veronica Joines is on the adjunct faculty at Belmont University where she teaches classical violin. She holds a double Master's degree in Performance and Pedagogy from Belmont University and a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from West Virginia University. 

Originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Veronica moved to Nashville in 2007 where she has enjoyed an active career as a professional violinist, session musician and private violin instructor. She has performed with numerous ensembles including Orchestra Nashville and the Western Kentucky Symphony Orchestra and records regularly with Nashville Music Scoring. She has recorded on Grammy award-winning albums and numerous film and video game scores including Madden 16 and Destiny 2. Her television appearances include performances on ABC’s “Nashville” and the Country Music Awards with Kelly Clarkson and Vince Gill. Veronica is also a founding member of the Corwin Trio, a professional string group that performs at events throughout the Nashville area.

In addition to performing and teaching, Veronica enjoys community outreach and is a volunteer at Alive Hospice, providing music for patients and their families. Veronica is honored to be on the faculty at Belmont University and is passionate about sharing her love of the violin while challenging and encouraging each of her students to reach their musical goals.
