Business students are encouraged to intern early and often, starting after they’ve earned 30 credit hours. Our internship program is flexible: internships can be part-time or full-time, paid or for class credit, and occur during a fall, spring, or summer semester or even for the full length of an academic year.
Many of our internships are located in Nashville, but students can also take part in the Belmont USA program and intern in Los Angeles, New York City, Washington DC, or even intern while they are abroad. Students will also choose to intern in their hometown over the summer or will find an internship in a city they hope to call home one day.
The Massey Career Development Center and our faculty constantly connect students to employers and internship opportunities, while empowering students to build their network and find internships. It is common for our graduates to intern in a variety of fields, allowing them to gain a plethora of on-the-job experience while determining their best initial fit for a company or industry.
