Students posing for a photo in ColombiaStudy abroad is a requirement for all programs because Massey students graduate with a truly expanded view of the world and business.  Residencies average eight days, with destinations around the globe.  Each study abroad experience is faculty-led and includes a wide range of visits to internationally-based businesses, non-profits and government organizations.  In addition, students have exclusive interaction and networking with C-suite and executive management level global leaders.  Residencies also include cultural activities that add to students’ international knowledge base.  Students choose from a range of residencies across globe.

The Massey Graduate School of Business offers an exclusive opportunity for graduate business students to partner with Nashville-based organizations.  The international business consultancy is an immersive, experiential program that provides students real-world education and application in international business.  Students receive hands-on consulting experience researching a major project and making recommendations to senior management, in addition to course credit.   

Example of consulting projects:

  • Market opportunity analysis for entering South America
  • Focus groups to determine best services for Philippine marketplace
  • New product development for the Americas
  • Brand design and development for new international target market
  • Supply chain optimization with Chinese agents and suppliers
  • Analysis of European health market and identification of mid-term market opportunities
