MISSION STATEMENT

The Belmont University College of Pharmacy Continuing Education program provides high-quality, evidence-based continuing pharmacy education programs that meet the diverse educational needs of our learners by addressing current and future practice needs to enhance patient-centered care and healthcare delivery.

OUR TEAM

Laura HydeLaura Hyde, MA, joined the CE Program at Belmont University in October 2018, and serves as the Coordinator of Continuing Education. She oversees the vision and planning of the program, as well as all CE events & partnerships for the College of Pharmacy and School of Nursing. Laura came to the College of Pharmacy from the Jack C. Massey College of Business where she was program manager at the Center for Executive Education. Laura has a passion for empowering others, creating community, and continuous education. She believes maintaining and expanding one’s professional and personal development is increasingly important in today’s world, especially as it relates to goals of advancing one’s level of respect and taking responsibility in shaping the future.

 

ONLINE CE CREDIT REDEMPTION

Belmont University College of Pharmacy partners with dialogEDU for online CE redemption. 

Effective June 1, 2019: Belmont College of Pharmacy no longer issues paper/electronic statements of credit for CE activities. ACPE (our accrediting body) policy states paper and/or electronic statements of credit may no longer be distributed directly to learners as proof of ACPE credit. The official record of credit may be located in the learner's e-profile in CPE Monitor.

Registration opens approximately 2 months prior to event date.

Live CE events require a minimum enrollment to hold the course.

  • The decision to cancel a Live In-person CE event due to low enrollment will be made 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled date.
  • The decision to cancel a Live Webinar CE event due to low enrollment will be made 1 week in advance of the scheduled date.

Webinar Requirements
  1. Download the latest version of Zoom. Zoom system requirements for Windows, macOS, and Linux and requirements for iOS, iPadOS, and Android.
  2. Each person must log in individually. Computer sharing is NOT permitted due to accreditation guidelines on activity monitoring. CE credit is earned by one attendee per device.
  3. Attend the presentation in its entirety. Attendees who join late or sign-off early will not be eligible for CE credit.
  4. Participate in live assessment questions & other active learning segments throughout the presentation.
  5. Complete the post-activity evaluation.
