"You Dont Have To..." | |
Unfortunately, most Christians get married for roughly the same reasons as non-Christians. In this talk I argue for the wisdom of focusing on spiritual purpose, according to Matthew 6:33, as providing the best foundation for a fulfilling marriage. I talk about why basing the choice on sexual chemistry, romantic feelings, and even relational compatibility has failed previous generations, and how the younger generation can make wiser choices about who they marry. |

Sexual Saints |
This is a sex-positive message that addresses the biblical celebration of sexuality as a gift of God--a gift that helps us grow in holiness, not something that is contrary to God's will. |

Giving, Not Getting. |
"I"m not getting any tonight" is an all too common phrase that describes our culture's view of sexuality--that it's all about getting, and that therefore being a virtual "predator" in seach of the next sexual experience is what we live for. This attitude not only offends God's purpose for marriage, but it creates exactly the wrong kind of heart to enjoy sexual intimacy long term within marriage. |

10:00-10:50am |
Neurochemical War |
This talk looks at the biblical and even neurochemical purpose of sex within marriage, and shows that the very thing that makes sex so healthy within marriage is what makes it so destructive prior to marriage. We'll look at how sexual promiscuity trains our brains to ignore what God created sex to do in a couple's minds and hearts. |
