Location: All sessions will be held in Neely Hall

Sessions:

Monday    Sept. 10

10 – 11 a.m.

Scouting the Divine

Margaret Feinberg invites you to accompany her on the spiritual adventure of a lifetime. Consider how ancient livelihoods illuminate meaningful Christian truths that apply to life today. Explore the agrarian themes of the Bible alongside people who live that life now and bring fresh insights to familiar Scriptures. Scout the divine and move from just reading the Bible to entering stories that can be touched, tasted, heard, seen, smelled, and savored.

Monday   Sept. 10

3 - 4 p.m.

Scouting the Divine – Bees.

Margaret Feinberg shares insights from venturing inside a beehive that will expand your understanding of God and grace as well at what it really means to live in a land flowing with milk and honey.

Tuesday   Sept. 11

3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Scouting the Divine – Sheep.

Sheep graze through the pages of Scripture. By spending time with a shepherd in Oregon, Margaret Feinberg's learned some lessons about these wooly creatures that will change the way you read the Scripture and understand God as the Good Shepherd.

Wednesday   Sept. 12

10 – 11 a.m.

Scouting the Divine – Vintner.

Imagery of wine, vines, and vineyards line the Scriptures. Even the process of planting and cultivating grapes offer rich spiritual insights for our lives. This final session will  provide inisght and encourage students to scout the divine on their own.
