Guy Chmieleski
University Minister
Guy came from Pepperdine University in California to become the University Minister at Belmont University in September 2005. He received his bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry from Bethel University in 1997. He earned his master of ministry degree in 2000 from Palm Beach Atlantic University, while serving as the Coordinator for Campus Ministry for the college.In 2005, he earned his doctorate of ministry in spiritual formation and leadership development from George Fox Evangelical Seminary. He has served as a pastor for youth, young adults and singles at a church in south Florida, as well as the coordinator of missions and outreach at Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky.Guy currently enjoys participating in triathlons and playing golf in his spare time! He and his wife, Heather, have three children: Derek, born in 2004, Autumn, born in 2006 and Kaiya, born in 2008. Christy Ridings
Associate University Minister
Christy is a Belmont alumna with a degree in Psychology and Religion. For the past 10 years, she has been involved in various campus ministry areas at Belmont and Vanderbilt University as well as coordinating collegiate events/minstries across the nation. Micah Weedman
Director of Outreach
Micah Weedman has experience both discerning vocational questions with undergraduate students and staying at home with his three small girls. In both cases, he has been interested in the ways theology informs the practice of daily life, especially in the context of urban life. Micah loves cities, rock and roll, and good books. He sometimes wishes he had been a chef who could surf.
