Summer Semester Start

Welcome to Belmont! We know the choice to enroll here is no small decision, and we are excited that you have decided to join the Bruin community. As a student starting in the summer semester, our priority is your course registration, helping you sign up for your summer orientation session, and helping you navigate the logistical tasks necessary to ensure your successful start at Belmont.

Here are the necessary steps you need to take:

checklist.pngRegister for your summer courses

For course registration, you will first need to verify that no pre-requisites are required for the class(es) in which you wish to enroll. The course description will tell you what is required, if anything. You can find the information at: http://catalog.belmont.edu/index.php?catoid=3.

If no pre-requisites are required, you may register during open registration. The date and time of open registration can be found at http://www.belmont.edu/registrar/calendar/registration-schedules.html for the term in which you are approved.

To register for your summer course, you will need to receive academic advising from the department in which you are wishing to take classes. You can find a list of the departments at http://www.belmont.edu/academics/colleges-and-schools.html.  Please email the department in order to schedule a time to discuss your academic courses. If you have questions about this process, please contact your admissions counsel or email belmontadmissions@belmont.edu.
