Directing
The Theatre Department at Belmont University offers opportunities
in directing. Opportunities are available for students to direct
one-acts and main stage productions. Here is a sampling of some of
our past productions directed by theatre students.
Antigone, photo at left, directed by senior Brandi Austin. Brandi moved the time period into the late 1990's and used symbolic costume colors, stylized visual tableaus, and stark, angular lighting to present this tragic tale by Jean Anouilh.
Little Women directed by former professor, Lynn Eastes, is a
sweeping story the follows the March sisters over a five year
period. Based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott.
