All exchange students are required to live on-campus and share room with a local Chinese student during the entire period of study at Lingnan. Rooms are randomly assigned. The university does not offer a meal plan, but there is a cafeteria and full service restaurant on campus in addition to many restaurants close to campus.
The Lingnan University Students’ Union offers over thirty special-interest and religious groups for students to join.
Lingnan University is located in Tuen Mun in the New Territories. Hong Kong's convenient location in the center of the Asia-Pacific Region allows easy access to mainland China and to other Asian countries such as Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
