Belmont in Hong Kong: CANCELLED

International Accounting and Management

This two-week program offers students the experience of researching and observing the business and cultural environment in Asia. Hong Kong is a country with a rich and diverse business culture. In 1997, after a 99 year lease, Hong Kong’s sovereignty was transferred from the United Kingdom to China. Both courses will explore function topics within the context of a country’s transition from being governed by a constitutional monarchy and free markets to communist rule and a dramatically restricted access to the markets.

Experience the beauty of Hong Kong through a number of excursions of the city, Macau and the ruins of St. Paul, view the city from above while enjoying dinner  at The Peak, and experience Shenzhen in a day trip. Come ready to experience an amazingly modern city steeped in rich history.
