NON-APPROVED STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM Costs

Students choosing not to participate in a Belmont exchange, direct enroll or affiliate/provider program for the semester or academic year may take an official Leave of Absence. Leaves of Absence are granted by the Office of the Registrar. Belmont financial aid does not follow the student on a leave of absence. Please consult with Student Financial Services (615-460-6403) for information regarding federal financial aid and leaves of absence.

Additionally, students choosing not to participate in a Belmont exchange, direct enroll or affiliate/provider program over winter or summer break must gain approval for “concurrent enrollment” from the Office of the Registrar prior to registration for the program.

NOTE: Students with concurrent enrollment or taking a Leave of Absence by participating in a program other than a Belmont exchange, direct enroll or affiliate/provider program must receive a transcript from an US School of Record or have their academic work abroad evaluated by World Education Services in order to bring the credit back into Belmont. Cost is approximately $180.
