Belmont in Belgium: Corporate Social Responsibility I-Week

March 3, 2018 - March 11, 2018
We will travel to Antwerp, the second largest city of Belgium, where the University of Antwerp organizes an intensive one week program about Corporate Social Responsibility. Corporate Social Responsibility is a business approach that creates sustainable development by delivering economic, social and environmental benefits for all stakeholders of a company. During this course, you will learn about the many different facets of Corporate Social Responsibility through lectures, a CEO-debate and workshops, and you will interact with students from other countries. During the program, you will also see the role of the cities of Antwerp, Brussels and Bruges for sustainable economic development in Europe.

Belmont in Belfast: AET, MOT & SNG @ the Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival

March 3, 2018 - March 11, 2018
Students will have the opportunity to take part in the Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival in Belfast, Northern Ireland, during Spring Break 2018. Courses are offered for AET, MOT and SNG majors centered on the festival. The program will also include visits to The Giant’s Causeway and the Titanic Experience. AET & SNG are 1-hour 8-week classes and MOT is a 3-hour full semester class.  MOT students will have the opportunity to learn about documentary filmmaking and will be involved in a short documentary about the Festival. The AET class will spend a few days recording in Dublin before joining the rest of the group in Belfast. Students need permission of the instructors to register for the classes
