Bookstore 460-6418
The University Bookstore is located in the lower level of the Gabhart Student Center. Available for purchase are required textbooks (new and used), school supplies, Belmont logo clothing and gift items, greeting cards and other related campus items. Belmont students may charge their textbooks, school supplies and other required items on their student account and will be billed through their Belmont University account. Also, you may purchase by personal check, Mastercard, Visa, Discover or cash. Checks may be cashed for up to $20 with a Belmont ID.
The Bookstore is open Monday-Tuesday 8:30 a.m.-6:15 p.m. and Wednesday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., during the regular fall and spring semesters. Summer store hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Hours are adjusted during holidays and for special campus events.
Visit the Bookstore’s Web page to check for special store hours, store policies, announcements, Belmont logo merchandise and the listing of textbooks required for Belmont University classes. There is also an opportunity to purchase your textbooks online. You may order textbooks online and prepay with a credit card or charge on the student’s account, picking up at an alternative site outside the Bookstore, when arriving

Campus Security is located on the ground floor of the Gabhart Student Center. This office is normally staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Emergency Services
Campus Security operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For on-campus emergencies, call 460-6911; for non-emergency assistance, call 460-6617.
Automobile Assistance
Campus Security provides services for automobiles, such as unlocking doors and jump-starting dead batteries.
Vehicle Registration
Any person operating an automobile on campus must purchase and display a valid registration decal and park only in those areas appropriately designated. Failure to comply with parking regulations may result in a fine, having your vehicle towed from campus (at YOUR expense!), an immobilizing boot attached to the wheel of your vehicle or the loss of campus parking privileges. Register your car during registration or at other times as necessary. Temporary and guest parking permits are available and are issued for up to one week.
Security Escort Services
Campus Security provides escorts for anyone on campus at any time the individual wishes an escort from one spot on campus to another.
Identification Cards
Campus Security generates the university ID cards and keeps an electronic file of these cards in its database. Cards are usually made during registration times and others as needed.
Career Services 460-6490
The office of Career Services offers a variety of services to both students and graduates. The office is located on the second floor of the Gabhart Student Center. Career Counseling is available by appointment.
Career and personality testing:
Analyze your interests and skills through a series of career and personality inventories. The Campbell Interest and Skill Survey (CISS) and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) are available for a minimum charge.
Internships
Earn up to six hours of elective college credit while you work. If your job applies to your major, minor or career goal, you may be eligible to earn college credit.
Web Job Listing
Job notices of currently available full-time and part-time jobs and internships are posted on the Internet and in the Career Services office.

For help with child care or course assistance.
Resume Preparation
An easy, user-friendly software program is available to students and graduates. Create a professional resume on any computer with Internet access, and then import it into the Career Services database and the Web Resume Book. The resume is then available to prospective employers.
Interview Training
Participate in a practice interview training session that focuses on style and technique.
Career Events
Career Services sponsors the Career Expo, the Career Fair and Teacher Recruitment Job Fair (annual events which bring students and graduates in contact with potential employers).
Community Service 460-5431
The Coordinator of Volunteer Services coordinates a variety of community service opportunities for students and the community at large. Since all students must fulfill a portion of their convocation requirement in Community Service, it makes a lot of sense to contact this professional staff member.
Health Services 460-5506
Basic health services are available to students through the Student Health Services office (located on the 2nd floor of the Gabhart Student Center). A nurse practitioner is available daily at the center, and a physician is available several hours each week. Students using Health Services should be prepared to provide health insurance information (if available) and must have a completed health record on file. (The health record may be completed at the Health Services office at the time of service.) Student Health Services also maintains a referral list for those students desiring health care off campus. Though some services include a small charge, most services at the Student Health Clinic are free.

The Records Office is located beside Belmont Central in the lobby of Freeman Hall.
Mail Center 460-6638
Hours of Service: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30p.m. The Mail Center is located in the basement of the Massey Business Center, on the northeast corner of the building, inside the Office of University Marketing and Communications. Outgoing mail services include:
• the sale of postage stamps
• package weighing and mailing
• UPS services
• mail drop-off
Residential students receive their personal mail, Monday-Friday, in their respective hall/complex clubhouse. The Mail Center receives mail and packages for the residence halls only. Students living in the apartment complexes receive mail in their clubhouse through the United States Postal Service.
Students requiring special needs such as receiving medication shipments, concerns about perishable goods or any shipping questions are encouraged to contact the Mail Center prior to shipping.
Office of Residence Life 460-5802
Residence Life is part of the Division of Student Affairs and coordinates all campus-living arrangements – apartments, residence halls and special emphasis houses. The Director of Residence Life can be found in the Office of Residence Life located in Wright Hall.
Beaman Student Life Center 460-6313
The Beaman Student Life Center is the hub of student life on campus! The facility includes two racquetball/squash courts, a multi-purpose gym, dance aerobics room, a rock climbing wall and fitness center. The space is also home to the Office of Campus Life and Dean of Students, various meeting rooms, athletic training facilities, five student organization offices and a small convenience store.

Student Financial Services 460-6209
Student Financial Services is located on the lower level of the mansion accessible through Freeman Hall. The office administers all financial aid programs (federal, state and local) and coordinates the student accounts that show you your financial status at Belmont. However, Belmont Central can answer many of your questions about financial aid and student accounts, so you can begin your search there.

Located on the second floor of Fidelity Hall, University College serves the learning needs of adult, non-traditional students. Because traditional four-year degree programs cannot accommodate the educational needs of many adults, University College provides opportunities to pursue education based on individual goals and flexible time schedules through degree-granting programs, continuing education experiences and professional development. University College has three divisions: the Office of Adult Degree Programs, the Distance Education Network and the Office of Continuing Education. Currently, University College offers the following degrees: Professional Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
