Lila D. Bunch Library   460-6782
The Lila D. Bunch Library is located on the west side of Belmont Boulevard. It houses four floors of resources (including over 200,000 items and over 1,000 current periodicals), seating for 525 students, a circulation lobby, a reference/periodical wing, a microcomputer center, a multimedia hall, an education services center, a music services center, a listening/viewing center, three special collection rooms, four group study rooms, two group listening/viewing rooms and two atriums.With its primary goal to enhance the university’s academic program, Bunch Library strives to provide a well-rounded, accessible collection based on curriculum. To facilitate use of the holding, the library offers course-related library instruction and individualized reference service. Terminals located throughout the building provide computerized access to the card catalog, while CD-ROM workstations in specified locations furnish bibliographic citations to selected periodical databases. The library also subscribes to various online full-text databases. A printed guide to the library is available at the main circulation desk, located just inside the library entrance.

Writing Center   460-6241
Writing clearly, imaginatively and correctly presents a challenge; it leads to clear thinking and is a vital learning tool in any class. The Writing Center offers free one-on-one conferences with a qualified, experienced, friendly writing instructor.
The center is not just a resource for struggling students or a place to go for help with grammar. Students may come in for help at any stage of the writing process-from brainstorming to final revision.

Math Lab   460-6406
Students may receive assistance for any 100-level math course through the Math Lab. The Math Lab is open several hours each week during the regular academic year. Call for hours or see notices posted in the Hitch Science Building.

Tutors
A number of departments on-campus provide tutoring assistance to students. If you could use some one-on-one help, contact the department of the course of which you are having trouble. You may also contact Career Services to see if tutors are available.

Computer Labs
There are two computer labs on Belmont’s campus available for student use:

Speech Labs
The speech lab is available for any Belmont student working on any speaking assignment.  Trained staff work with students individually on research, outlining, message development, PowerPoint, and delivery.  There are also two mirrored practice rooms equipped with cameras and PowerPoint that are available for student use.  View on-line samples, tutorials, directions, and lab hours at campus.belmont.edu/speechlab or call 460-6152 for more information.  The lab is located in the Heron Hall Academic Area.
