Tabby Bewley

Dr. Bewley joined the Sport Science Department in 2002, coming from Murray State University, Murray, Kentucky. She received her B.S. degree from Western Kentucky University; M.Ed. from Trevecca University and Doctorate from Middle Tennessee State University. Her research emphasis was ‘body image’ in female athletes.

Before teaching on the university level, Dr. Bewley taught in the public school system for 11 years. She currently teaches a variety of classes which include Junior Cornerstone, Foundations in Sport Science, and Health and Fitness Concepts. She is a certified pilates, spinning, and aerobics instructor. As well as, maintains an A.C.E. personal training certification.

Dr. Bewley is married and has two step daughters. Her youngest daughter will attend Belmont Law School in Fall of 2012.
