Dr. Sarah Adams came to Belmont University in June, 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University with a major in Physical Education/Health, a Master of Science degree in Physical Education/Health from Louisiana Tech University and a Doctor of Arts degree in Physical Education from Middle Tennessee State University.
Dr. Adams began her teaching/coaching career at Central High School in Columbia, TN and continued teaching there for 11 years. Her responsibilities included coaching volleyball, softball, and basketball, sponsoring the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and teaching Lifetime Wellness and math.Dr. Adams taught at Austin Peay State University for three years and currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Sport Science.
