Dr. Sarah Adams came to Belmont University in June, 2004, and currently serves as an Associate Professor of Exercise Science. She earned a Doctor of Arts degree in Physical Education from Middle Tennessee State University, a Master of Science degree in Physical Education/Health from Louisiana Tech University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University with a major in Physical Education/Health.
Dr. Adams began her teaching/coaching career at Central High School in Columbia, TN and continued teaching there for 11 years. Her responsibilities included coaching volleyball, softball, and basketball; sponsoring the Fellowship of Christian Athletes; and teaching Lifetime Wellness and math. She then assumed a faculty position at Austin Peay University, where she taught for three years prior to joining the Belmont University faculty.
