Favorite Place Contest

This year's theme was "Favorite Place," and children in first through fourth grades were invited to compose a 12 to 16 line poem about their favorite place from literature.  The Top 5 poems were selected by students from the Belmont English Club from 106 entries, and the Top 5 poets were invited to work with local professional songwriters Sherrié Austin, Kalisa Ewing, Brian Maher, Bill McDermott and Will Rambeaux to set their poems to music.  We hope that you enjoy them!
