If you borrowed a Federal Stafford Loan and/or a Federal Perkins Loan at Belmont during the 2007-2008 academic year, you do not need to complete a new Master Promissory Note. If you wish to borrow less than the amount shown on your award letter, please notify the Office of Student Financial Services by completing the Loan Cancellation/Reduction Request Form.

Please be aware: Student Financial Services cannot process a federal student loan after the last day of classes for any given semester.

During the loan certification process, if the number of completed credit hours differs from the student reported grade level on the FAFSA, the Federal Stafford Loan amount(s) must be adjusted accordingly.

If you are now a new student at Belmont, or if you did not borrow during 2007-2008, you must complete a Master Promissory Note from your chosen lender as well as online entrance counseling.
