Peggy has served in Iraq for many years, where one of her teammates, Tom Fox, was martyred. She is the author of Iraq: A Journey of Hope and Peace. Lee Brown grew up in Grenada, MS. where he was inspired by hearing Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. John Gordy made and lost several fortunes. He finally wound up in Hell’s Kitchen, N.Y. Christ’s work in his life led him to get involved in FCA so that he might bring hope to at-risk young people. John Polkinghorne is the President Emeritus of Queen’s College, Cambridge and was Professor of Mathematical Physics at Cambridge University. He has written 15 books on physics and the relation of science and faith, including Quantum Physics and Theology: An Unexpected Kinship (Yale Univ. Press).
He is an Anglican priest, founder of the Society of Ordained Scientists and was knighted in 1997 for distinguished service to science, religion, learning and medical ethics. www.starcourse.org/jcp
