Jessica Christensen
Alma Mater: Concordia University
Undergraduate Degree: Athletic Training with Minor in Coaching
Hometown: Green Bay, WI
Career area of interest: Collegiate Athletics
Employment history: Jessica was a student athletic trainer for three years at Concordia University prior to enrolling at Bemont.
Why she chose Belmont's Sports Administration Program: As graduation approached at Jessica's undergraduate university, she knew that she did not want to pursue Athletic Training (her undergraduate major) as a lifelong career path. Her passion was in sports so she knew that she wanted to be involved in the atmosphere. At the time she was concentrated on eventually being involved in an Athletic Department at the collegiate level. She searched for programs in Sport Administration/Management that would best suit her and came across Belmont. After hearing positive things about the university from a family friend, she applied to the graduate program and it has assisted in opening doors to the sporting industry for her.
Graduate Assistant Responsibilities: Jessica is the graduate assistant for intramurals and aquatics at Vanderbilt University's Office of Campus Recreation.
