Heather Copeland

Heather Copeland is an Adjunct Instructor in the Graduate Sport Administration Program at Belmont University. She begins her second year as an instructor for Governance in Sport class. This class is offered as an elective during summer term.

Ms. Copeland is Belmont's Director of NCAA Compliance. She is responsible for administration of the compliance program for Belmont University's 17 sports. She monitors adherence to NCAA and Atlantic Sun Conference rules and regulations. She became BU's Assistant Director of Compliance after serving as an athletic trainer at Belmont University for three years. Heather was promoted to Director in June, 2006.

Heather Copeland holds a B.S. in Education from Samford University and an M.A. in Education from University of Alabama at Birmingham. She and her husband Bart reside in Nashville.
